Revolutionizing Nursing: The Nursing Platform Unveils the KeNuM App

Living up to our commitment to advance nursing education and improving the self-perception and public’s opinion of nurses, we have partnered with M Health, which is at the forefront of transforming healthcare services with the launch of its innovative mobile application, the KeNuM app (Kenya Nurses and Midwives). This app is undergoing demo and A/B testing phases to provide nurses and midwives across Kenya with seamless, mobile access to essential services.

Last Thursday and Friday, senior nurses from county hospitals nationwide had an exclusive demonstration of the app, marking a significant milestone in its development. These sessions provided valuable insights and feedback that will shape the app’s final version, ensuring it meets the unique needs of Kenya’s nursing community.

The KeNuM app will connect nurses and midwives to the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) like never before. From the convenience of their phones, users can:

  • Apply for internships,
  • Renew professional licenses,
  • Register for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses and more.

This innovation eliminates the need for trips to the NCK head office, decentralizing access and empowering healthcare professionals to manage their credentials from anywhere.

Stay tuned for updates as M Health continues to refine the KeNuM app. This groundbreaking tool promises to make nursing services more accessible, efficient, and user-friendly.
